Through movement, I am able to express what words often cannot—emotions that live deep within the body, shaped by memory, identity, and imagination. Dance allows me to explore the full spectrum of human experience, transforming feeling into form and presence. I am continuously drawn to the vast diversity of movement and improvisation, and to the exploration of genres that reflect my cultural roots—from the rhythmic pulse of bachata and salsa to the grounding and expansiveness of contemporary modern dance.
For me, dance is a language of storytelling and healing. Each piece I create becomes a reflection of lived experience, a dialogue between vulnerability and resilience. It offers a space to break free from the constraints of everyday life and to rediscover liberation, joy, and connection—moments I am deeply grateful to share with my community.
My artistic work is centered on vulnerability, emotional storytelling, and the exploration of Latinidad—an ongoing inquiry into what it means to carry culture, history, and identity within the moving body. Coming from an immigrant household, I carry with me a deep appreciation for hard work and perseverance, as well as an unshakable commitment to honoring the roots that have shaped who I am. This foundation inspires me to give back to the community, recognizing that even the smallest gestures of support can create meaningful impact.

As a teaching artist, I am passionate about inspiring the next generation to embrace their artistry without limitation, even in moments of uncertainty. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue developing my own movement methodology—a personal fusion that intertwines the expressiveness of contemporary modern dance with the rhythm, passion, and connection of bachata and Latin social dance traditions.
Ultimately, my work as an artist is guided by a desire to connect, to uplift, and to reveal the beauty and truth that live within movement.
